Alleluia! He is Risen. He is Risen Indeed.
As you return from your spring break, my prayer for you, your staff and your school communities are that the grace of Christ’s sacrifice may fall down upon you like the dewfall, and that you may be nourished by the Holy Spirit. I imagine Ezekiel, in the middle of the valley of Bones, similar to us as we finished Lent: tired, and longing for the Lord, when he responds, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Look! I am going to put breath into you and make you live again! I will put flesh and muscles on you and cover you with skin. I will put breath into you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’” It is truth that Ezekiel, you, I and everyone who accepts His invitation is granted life through Jesus; physically and spiritually we are nourished. Alleluia! Alleluia!
Happy Easter.
